K-12 Wellbeing Leadership Cohort

School districts across Canada are as varied as the nation itself. However, many are facing similar challenges when it comes to their workforce. Burnout and stress levels have never seemed so high, and challenges with recruiting and retaining staff have never seemed so universal.

If your district is looking to address those challenges through:

  • Working towards a collaborative, systemic approach to workplace wellbeing that includes all staff

  • Finding avenues to engage with and learn from other districts across the country

  • Developing workplace wellbeing leadership skills

  • Exploring practical tools and approaches to foster a culture of workplace wellbeing across the district.

Then the “K-12 Wellbeing Leadership Cohort” could be precisely what you are looking for.

The next cohort is scheduled to begin January 9th, 2024.

Facilitated sessions integrate and apply content covered in the online K-12 Leadership Course.

Facilitated sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 12:00 - 1:30pm ET.

Created with an individual participant focus, but with an eye to supporting broader, district-wide efforts, this 8 module program offers learnings that are specifically designed for K-12 education systems. High quality content is based on contemporary research and delivered by professionals currently operating within the K-12 system.

Participants will:

  • Receive training in how to support wellbeing in the K-12 workplace, delivered by practicing experts in the field.

  • Benefit from our “cohort” structure where there will be ample opportunity to connect, communicate and collaborate with other jurisdictions.

  • Learn how to identify, engage and work with key partners along the wellbeing continuum.

  • Receive mentoring and modeling on how to best collect data to determine a starting point for their efforts.

  • Be coached in best practice methods of taking data and turning it into a comprehensive wellbeing plan

  • Receive a certificate of course completion from EdCan Network
