Over the past number of years, the context for raising and teaching children has changed dramatically. School leaders may not be able to change the social context of society, but they can shape their education philosophy to respond to the complex and evolving needs of students and families. In 2018, Pierre Elliott Trudeau Elementary School (Gatineau, QC) was selected to be part of the Lab École project due to their "innovative, progressive and flexible school philosophy and a willingness to think differently”.
