Jennifer E. Lawson

Well at Work Advisor

Jennifer E. Lawson is a former classroom teacher, resource and special education teacher, consultant, principal, university instructor, and school trustee. With over 40 years in public education, Jennifer has always been passionate about workplace wellness and creating a positive school culture for learning and teaching.

She is also the senior author of the new book, Teacher, Take Care: A Guide to Well-Being and Workplace Wellness for Educators (2022). Since its publication, Jennifer has been presenting keynote addresses, running interactive workshops, and facilitating courses related to educator well-being and workplace wellness.

Jennifer completed her PhD at the University of Manitoba, with a focus on educational leadership. She is currently completing her certification in Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace, through the Canadian Mental Health Association.
