Kim Weatherby is the Program Lead of EdCan's Well at Work Advisors program, the B.C. hub and the B.C. Workplace Wellbeing Community of Practice. Kim leads logistics, research, stakeholder relations, and strategic planning across three Well at Work solutions in collaboration with the Project Design Team. Her portfolio is primarily BC-based with pan-Canadian implications – Kim’s objective is to encourage greater awareness-building, capacity-building, and stakeholder alignment in BC on the topic of K-12 workplace wellbeing while leveraging key findings to inform the work of other provinces. 

She has worked in school health promotion for over 15 years, with roles at the local, provincial, and national levels in non-profits and government. She has led mental health work at the Joint Consortium for School Health, the B.C. Ministry of Education, and DASH BC. Since 2017 her primary focus has been workplace wellbeing. In the last few years, her primary focus has been staff wellbeing. Recent assignments include co-founding BC's K-12 Staff Wellbeing Network and writing Principal and Vice-Principal Stress and Burnout: A Barrier to Student Success for the BC Principals' and Vice Principals' Association (BCPVPA).

Kim was the program lead for WellAhead/DASH BC's Mental Wellbeing Coaching Initiative. She was also a member of the McConnell Foundation's K-12 Staff Wellbeing Design.
