Steve McCabe

Steve has been an educator for the past 35 years and has served in the roles of teacher, Vice-Principal, Principal and Superintendent with the Ottawa Catholic School Board. As a superintendent, Steve held the portfolios of Leading & Learning (Staff Development) and Human Resources, where much of his work focussed on staff wellbeing.
In addition, through the Ontario Catholic Supervisory Officers’ Association, Steve has served as a mentor to new SOs for the past seven years.
Steve is a past recipient of the Director of Education Commendation award and was recently presented with the Eleanor Newman Award for outstanding contribution to the Eastern Ontario Staff Development Network.
